Massachusetts
Mass has some beautiful scenery as you will see in the pictures. We kind of hit this area in the early fall so they were shutting down a lot of places for winter. We stayed in Bourne, Mass at Bay View Campground which was a nice campground. We did a lot of sightseeing in Mass and were very fortunate to do some really cool things. There were so many great memories made in Mass.
The Cape Cod Central Railroad Dinner Train – was probably one of the best memories we made in Mass. It was beautiful and dinner was fantastic. Just a truly great experience. 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!
Bay View Campground – Very nice campground! Next time we will visit before everything starts closing up for the winter.
The Animal Inn is who we chose to take care of Blossom so she wasn’t alone a lot while we were sightseeing and they did a fantastic job with her. She had a wonderful time. 5 STARS
The Cape Cod National Seashore is beautiful. This is definitely a place you want to visit when you are in Cape Cod. Simply amazing scenery.
Outermost House & Seashore as well as Coast Guard Beach – We took some time to stop and look at the beautiful northern east coast. It’s a beautiful place in the Cape Cod area! Definitely a must see!
Hyannis, MA – This is another city that is a must go to while you are in Mass. Here are a few places we visited in Hyannis and what we thought about them.
DJ’s Sports Pub – AMAZING WINGS!!!!!! Yummy that’s all we can say!!!! 5 STARS ALL THE WAY!!!!
The Black Cat Tavern – Ohhhhh yessssss! Get their Oyster Shooters – Fantastic. There is always a wait but it’s well worth it for sure. 5 Stars!
Hyannis Port – Located right across the street from the Black Cat Tavern and is absolutely breathtaking. Take a nice walk after dinner and enjoy the stunning scenery and the beautiful boats! There is even some nice artwork on the side of a building!
Sea Street Café – What a great breakfast place. Referred to us by all the locals around town. The place was so busy so we decided to share our table with another couple so they didn’t have to wait as long for a table. Danielle was our fantastic Waitress! She had a great personality and we wanted for nothing. 5 Stars
The International Inn & Suites -This was a last minute reservation for us! It was a nice hotel room and had a jacuzzi tub for two. The hotel is under a major renovation so it wasn’t exactly as pictured but the room was nice!
Not Your Average Joe’s – Nice place, we had some drinks and appetizers. Definitely different, but good.
North Chatham – What a great stop for us! We were able to see all the boats coming in and out of the marina and the fish coming in from the daily catch. The birds and sheep dogs hanging out and fighting over the remnants thrown back in the water. Very cool!
Some of the other places we visited and are a definite must see while you are in Mass. are:
Buzzards Bay, Monument Beach, Forestdale, East Harwich, Orleans, and Eastham.
What a great time in Mass! We will definitely be back
